The diocesan special collection for our seminarians, “Help Us Continue Forming Men of Mercy,” took place in all parishes and missions of the Diocese of St. Petersburg this past May.   Early results are in, and we are pleased to announce the special collection was a huge success with almost $500,000 raised through the generosity of parishioners in our 81 parishes and missions.

In addition to donations to the collection, parishioners joined in the fun by submitting selfies with our presenters, which were posted on Facebook and tagging the post with:

Many thanks to the seminarians, parents of seminarians and priests, newly ordained priests and vocations staff members who took the time to present at Masses across our diocese, as well as all those who made a donation to help fund the costs of seminarian formation and education.
