This year, students are particularly excited to go to DayStar. The school held a canned food drive recently, collecting 22,000 canned goods for DayStar. They will have the opportunity to see the impact their collection efforts are making in the community.

Also noteworthy, the students have partnered with Calvary Cemetery for the past two years to serve there. Students are also given the opportunity to visit their loved ones’ grave sites as well as pray for their souls.

Every month, students are invited to participate in an after-school service opportunity known as Mercy Project. Students make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and go to Williams Park in Downtown St. Pete to deliver them. This is also one of the service sites for Day of Service.
