Priests
Since our establishment as a Diocese in 1968, ten (10) Priests of the Diocese of St. Petersburg have admitted to or, in the judgment of the Diocese of St. Petersburg, were credibly accused of actions that disqualify and prohibit them from working or volunteering with children, youth, or vulnerable adults, in any parish, school, agency, institution, or other Catholic entity located within the Diocese of St. Petersburg. Their names are as follows:

- Norman Balthazar
- Rocco D’Angelo
- William Lau
- Hubert Reason
- Michael Rhodes
- James Russo
- Robert Schaeufele
- Keith Symons
- Antonio Londono
Priests of other dioceses and priests of religious communities who have admitted to or have been determined to have committed sexual abuse of a minor or minors and have served in our diocese are not included in this list.
The list does not include individuals where an investigation concluded that the facts could not determine sexual abuse had occurred.
Lay Employees
Since 1968, five employees of the Diocese of St. Petersburg, our parishes, or our schools have admitted to or have been determined to have committed sexual abuse of a minor or minors. Their names are:
- Robert Allen
- Leon Gilberti
- Emil Anastia
- Scott Stern
- Tom Nibbio
Lay religious (brothers, sisters, nuns) who have admitted to or have been determined to have committed sexual abuse of a minor or minors and have served in our diocese are not included in this list.
