Reverend Francis Brou, S.J., 92, former faculty member of Jesuit High School, Tampa, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, October 19, 2021, at the infirmary for the Central and Southern Province of the Jesuits, in Grand Coteau, Louisiana.

Father Brou entered the Society of Jesus 74 years ago and dedicated the past 60 years of his life to the priesthood.  During his years of ministry, he served at Jesuit High School, Tampa from 1965 to 1971, and again from 2006 to 2020, before being transferred to the infirmary. 

A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, October 22nd in Grand Coteau, Louisiana.  Locally, a Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, 7:00 p.m., at Jesuit High School, 4701 N. Himes Avenue, Tampa.
