On Thursday, April 23, 2020, we learned of the death of Reverend Arcangelo Manzi, O. de M., 81, on Tuesday, April 21, 2020, due to complications from the COVID-19 coronavirus.  Father Manzi resided with the Mercedarian community at the St. Peter Nolasco Residence and served as Parochial Vicar of the Cathedral Parish of St. Jude the Apostle, St. Petersburg from 1992-1997.

In light of the current restrictions caused by the covid-19 pandemic a private Funeral Mass will be held by the Mercedarian Friars and family. A public Memorial Mass celebrating Father Manzi’s life will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Cleveland at a later date.
