Mr. Nicholas DeSanto, 31, son of Deacon Frank and Kathy DeSanto of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, Land O’ Lakes, died suddenly on Wednesday, May 22, 2019.  A Funeral Mass was held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, Land O’ Lakes, followed by burial at Saint Anthony Cemetery, San Antonio, Florida.

Deacon Angelo J. Pignataro, 92, retired, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019.  He is survived by his wife, Pauline, four children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Deacon Pignataro was part of the first class of permanent deacons to be ordained for the Diocese of St. Petersburg, in May 1987.  He served at his home parish, St. Anne, Ruskin from 1987 to 1994, and at Prince of Peace Parish, Sun City Center, from 1994 to 2006, when he retired from active ministry.  After his retirement Deacon and Mrs. Pignataro returned to worship at St. Anne Parish, Ruskin, where a Funeral Mass will be held at a later date.
