Word reached the Chancellor’s Office of the passing of Mr. Virgilio Diaz, Sr., father of Reverend J. Glenn Diaz, Pastor, St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Homosassa Springs, on January 26, 2024 in the Philippines, following a lengthy battle with kidney cancer. He was 89 years old.

Mr. Diaz is survived by his wife, Clotilde, his six children (including Father Diaz), nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and other extended family members and loved ones. Funeral arrangements are still pending but all services will take place in the Philippines.
