Stewardship Director
The Director will be responsible for cultivating relationships with ministries and families within the parish. He or she will be responsible for overseeing the annual diocesan Catholic Ministry Appeal as well as any parish appeals.  The position will implement stewardship practices throughout the parish through online and physical presence. The stewardship director will assist in establishing a Stewardship Council as well as conducting annual ministry fairs and gatherings.  The director’s work week will normally be Saturday – Wednesday.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of church structure, organizational, and operational procedures 
  • Strong leadership and management skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated facilitation and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to create basic documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and emails using MS Word, Excel, Power Point and MS Outlook
  • Must be a fully initiated and practicing Catholic.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.

 Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in theology, non-profit management, business administration is desirable. An equivalent degree and/or parish experience would also be considered.

Candidate must successfully pass a Level II FBI Background Screening and complete Safe Environment Training before employment.
