August 8, 2019 –   #GivingTuesday kicks off the giving season on Tuesday, December 3, 2019.    What is #GivingTuesday you might ask?

#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.  Immediately following our national day of thanks (Thanksgiving), retailers get us focused on HUGE sales (Black Friday, Cyber Monday), which turns our attention away from the true focus of the season.  So, a group of do-gooders got together and launched #GivingTuesday.  It is a day that many not-for-profits try to focus their supporters on making a special gift rather than just spending money on material items – ie. refocus people nationwide on spending money to help the common good.

This day is online, all digital and all connected.
