Word reached the Chancellor’s Office on the unexpected passing of Lynn Ann Lydon, M.D., 70, sister of Reverend Michael Lydon, retired priest of the Diocese of St. Petersburg, on Friday, December 22, 2023, at her home in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Dr. Lydon served in the medical profession for many years, having worked in Stuart, Florida since 1986. She was predeceased by her sister, Patty and is survived by her life-long friend Dr. Toni Sawczak, children Susan and Scott, and four brothers, Daniel, David, Steven, and Father Michael. A Funeral Mass was held on December 29, 2023 at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle, St. Petersburg.
