We are sad to announce that Deacon Rudolph “Rudi” Fernandes, 70, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020. He is survived by his wife, Queenie, of 38 years. Deacon Fernandes was ordained for the Diocese of St. Petersburg on October 19, 2013 and assigned to St. Ignatius of Antioch in Tarpon Springs. In September 2014, Deacon Fernandes and Queenie moved to California to be closer to their children.  He was assigned to St. Rose Catholic Church in Sacramento and was active until his passing.

All services will take place in California, with a Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at St. Rose Catholic Church, 5961 Franklin Blvd., Sacramento, CA  95824.
