What is a pastoral plan?

It is a prayerful and methodical process that helps establish the vision for the Diocese – a set of goals and intentions that help guide the pastoral activities and decisions of parishes, schools and diocesan ministries & services in response to the spiritual needs of our community.

What is in the pastoral plan?

• Foundational Goal upon which the rest of the document is built. It is meant to be the focus for every soul within the five counties of the Diocese of Saint Petersburg.
• Three central priorities to honor the Trinity – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
• Twelve goals to honor the works of the Twelve Apostles.
• Goals have Calls to Conversion and the ways we will Put It Into Action, which include assigned accountabilities and target dates.
