About: The Siena House is a single residence home that was purchased by St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Clearwater in June of 2017 to provide outreach to the residents of the Coral Heights community who face many challenges. The home is currently used for neighborhood meetings and prayer groups. Outside the home, volunteers distribute food and clothing each week and organize movie nights for families. Once rezoning is approved, the Siena House will also provide tutoring, 12-step programs, nursing care and social services. Across from the Siena House, is an empty field owned by Duke Energy that will now be used as a soccer field by local children.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The Siena House is an effort by the parish community of St. Catherine of Siena to follow the invitation of Pope Francis to go out outside the walls of our churches and encounter Christ in the immigrant and the poor.
