As a result of the pending merger of Transfiguration Parish, St. Petersburg with the Holy Martyrs of Vietnam Pastoral Mission, Largo, resulting in the newly named Holy Martyrs of Vietnam Parish, St. Petersburg, Most Reverend Gregory Parkes, Bishop of St. Petersburg, announces the following clergy changes, effective October 21, 2019:

APPOINTMENT
Pastor
Reverend Nguyen Vu Viet to Pastor of Holy Martyrs of Vietnam Parish, St. Petersburg.

RELIEVING
Reverend Carlos J. Rojas from Parochial Administrator of Transfiguration Parish, St. Petersburg to the Pastoral Center, St. Petersburg.

NOTE: After this weekend (October 19-20, 2019), all Masses and parish-related services on the existing property of Transfiguration Parish (4000 43rd Street N., St. Petersburg) will cease, while renovations are being made to the facilities. All Masses and other activities for the newly named Holy Martyrs of Vietnam Parish will continue on the property of the current Mission (9099 90th Avenue, Largo) until at least the spring of 2020, after which all services will then be held on the current Transfiguration property.
