APPOINTMENTS
Reverend George Gyasi [Kumasi, Ghana], from Parochial Vicar of St. Anne Parish, Ruskin to Parochial Vicar of St. Paul Parish, Tampa.
Upon presentation by Reverend Michael R. Rock, O. de M., Vicar Provincial of the Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mercy, Reverend Joseph Eddy, O. de M. from Parochial Vicar of the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle, St. Petersburg to Parochial Vicar of St. John Vianney Parish, St. Pete Beach.
Upon presentation by Very Reverend Richard L. Davis, T.O.R., Minister Provincial Superior of the Third Order Regular of Saint Francis, Reverend Salvator Stefula, T.O.R. to Pastor of St. Patrick Parish, Tampa, effective June 15, 2018.
Very Reverend Leonard Piotrowski, to Vicar Forane (Dean), Central Deanery, and continuing all other assignments.
RELIEVING
Reverend Bernardas Talaisis [Telsiai, Lithuania] from Administrator of St. Casimir Lithuanian Mission, St. Pete Beach. After 14 years of ministry to the Lithuanian population of our diocese, Father Talaisis will be returning to Lithuania. Regular liturgies at St. Casimir Lithuanian Mission will cease in June.
Upon notification by Very Reverend Anthony Schueller, S.S.S., Provincial Superior of the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament, Reverend Tuong Van Nguyen, S.S.S. from Administrator of St. Joseph Vietnamese Mission, Tampa. Father Nguyen is being assigned outside of our diocese.
Upon notification by Very Reverend Richard L. Davis, T.O.R., Minister Provincial of Third Order Regular of Saint Francis, Reverend James Angert, T.O.R. from Pastor of St. Patrick Parish, Tampa, effective June 15, 2018. Father Angert is being transferred to the Diocese of Fort Worth.
Very Reverend Gregg Tottle from Vicar Forane (Dean), Central Deanery, and continuing all other assignments.
