As part of the Diocesan-wide Parish Growth Initiative, we are extending a special effort to invite all in the five counties of the diocese to Mass this Advent/Christmas.

We are placing nine digital and vinyl billboard ads on stands across major highways throughout the Diocese, including at least one in each of our five counties.  These billboards will be seen an average of 2,165,949 times weekly. The campaign started November 25^th and continues through December 22^nd. 

The ad directs people to visit www.MyCatholicMass.org where they can find a list of parishes and Mass Times. We will also be inviting people to Mass on Spirit FM 90.5. Please be sure your Mass times are correct or updated by alerting us at Communicate@dosp.org.

We have designs available which we encourage you to use in your various communication venues throughout Advent. Anything you can do to promote this invitation within your parish (Christmas letter, bulletin, website, Flocknotes, social media, pulpit announcements, preparing for knock-your-socks off hospitality, etc.) will greatly reinforce the effort and will bear much fruit to spread the Good News!

Christmas is a time of hope. Pope Francis invites us to open wide the doors of our churches and of our hearts, to welcome all to experience the love of God and discover the hope of salvation in Christ. Even if we feel lonely or isolated, Jesus Christ is with us and can fill our hearts with hope. This Christmas, let us celebrate God’s love for us, his divinity and humanity…and his sacrifice to save us from our sins.
