To help ensure the safety of children in our care, the following policies apply to all Scouting units chartered by the Diocese of St. Petersburg:

1. All registered adults in the unit must be in compliance with diocesan Safe Environment policies. Specifically, leaders must maintain current Safe Environment Training certification and Background Screening/Fingerprinting.
2. New registration applications for adults MUST NOT BE SUBMITTED to the Greater Tampa Bay Area Council BEFORE Safe Environment Training and Background Screening/Fingerprinting have been completed.
3. All overnight events require advance approval from the Office of Safe Environment using the Chaperone Verification Form.
