Congratulations St. Jude Medal Award Honorees
On Sunday, November 24, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle in St. Petersburg, Bishop Parkes will present the St. Jude Medal Award to representatives from parishes for their distinguished and outstanding service to the community. A Promise to Protect
Occasionally, parishioners and parents of Catholic school students will inquire about the safety of our parishes and schools when it comes to prevention of child sexual abuse.  Please see the following link (PDF doc.) to find a list of Frequently Asked Questions concerning the commitment of our Diocese to protect all minors and vulnerable adults within our care.  Also, please visit our the Accountability section of our diocesan website (link).  Creating and maintaining safe environments is not just the responsibility of those who work in our parishes and schools, it is everyone’s job!

In the Wildflowers Retreat
In the Wildflowers Retreat for women who have suffered childhood sexual abuse. This 11-week private retreat will be held in Tampa on Saturdays beginning on January 25, 2020. February 28 – March 1, 2020
The Emmaus Retreat is based on the Gospel of Luke 24:13-35. This retreat is led by laywomen like you who have struggled with all those same questions about life and God. This retreat offers an opportunity to encounter or rediscover Jesus in our lives. You can’t really describe the Emmaus experience; you must simply experience it yourself!

Advent Day of Reflection
The St. Petersburg Diocesan Council of Catholic Women is sponsoring an Advent Day of Reflection with Fr. Michael Owen on December 7, 2019.  The event will take place at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 9715 N. 56 Street, Temple Terrace 33617.
