Zoom Support Group for Family, Relatives, and Friends of Victims of Clergy Sexual Abuse
Most often family members, relatives and friends do not have anyone to talk with about their loved one’s abuse. The Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, is offering a Zoom Support Group, on the second Monday of each month, from 7:30-9:00 p.m. Eastern Time for anyone who would like to participate. These meetings are confidential and no one is forced to contribute unless they choose to.

Catholic Days at the Capitol
Now is the time to register to attend Catholic Days at the Capitol which will be held on March 18-19, 2025. The Bishops of Florida invite you to advocate for the protection of human life & dignity as lawmakers continue the important work of shaping Florida’s laws and future for the common good. Events include a legislative briefing, awards breakfast & 50th Annual Red Mass of the Holy Spirit.

Good Counsel Camp Update
A new Master Planning process has started at Good Counsel Camp to update camp facilities and enhance programming. These improvements are much needed and will provide the foundation for long-term success for future generations.

March for Life and Youth Rally
The Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry is leading the Tampa Bay March for Life/Youth Rally on February 1, 2025 at 9:00 AM. The march will begin at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (509 N Florida Ave, Tampa, FL 33602) and end at Perry Harvey Sr. Park (1000 E Harrison St, Tampa, FL 33602) where all will gather to celebrate the sanctity of life through prayer, music, and inspiring speeches to raise awareness, inspire others, and advocate for life in the community.

CRS Rice Bowl Grant Opportunity
CRS Rice Bowl is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this Lent! Millions of Catholics in the U.S. donate each Lent in support of CRS international anti-poverty relief and development projects in over 120 countries. 75% of the collection is used overseas and the 25% retained by our Diocese is made available for small grants of up to $1,000.00. Diocesan entities may apply for grants to help fund innovative hunger and poverty alleviation efforts or justice education projects. Applications are due by January 22, 2025.

Hand in Hand with Haiti Twinning Committee
On Saturday February 1, 2025, from 5:30 – 8:30 PM, Holy Family Parish will celebrate 17 years of Twinning as we have our annual fundraiser for our sister parish, St Gabriel in Beau Sejour, Haiti. The money raised through donations will go to support St. Gabriel Parish and the parish Medical Clinic. Refreshments, appetizers, and dinner are being prepared by parishioner Dave DeRose. This dinner will be held at Holy Family School, 200 78th Ave. NE, St. Pete 33703. All are welcome.
