Did You Know?
Child Abuse Prevention Month ~ April is national Child Abuse Prevention Month.
It is most appropriate that Child Abuse Prevention Month is held during the Easter season. There is no better season than Easter to celebrate the protection of our most valuable gift from God—our children.
For information on how you can become more informed and involved in keeping our children safe, please call: Michael Craig, Safe Environment Program Manager at (727) 344-1611, ext. 5377.

CRS Rice Bowl
As Masses are being suspended and schools closed, the traditional Lenten practices of prayer, fasting and sacrifice offer support on our journey. CRS Rice Bowl offers a variety of resources in both English and Spanish at crsricebowl.org or crsplatodearroz.org that can be done safely in the home with families accessing resources digitally and virtually.
Families may turn in their Lenten gifts online, by phone or by mail:
- English: https://support.crs.org/donate/change-life-lent-0
- Spanish: https://support.crs.org/donate/cambia-una-vida-esta-cuaresma
Share Images from Faith at Home
Take a selfie of how you are celebrating faith at home during the coronavirus. Use the hashtag #DOSPFaithAtHome or email pics to socialmedia@dosp.org. Are you viewing the Mass online, praying a rosary, reading about the saints, doing Catholic crafts? Show us how you are living #DOSPFaithAtHome. Please note that we must have release forms signed and on file with the Diocese or school for any photos of minors.
