Vote No On Amendment 4

An extremely grave amendment has been placed on the November 2024 ballot that seeks to erase pro-life protections by inserting language into the Florida Constitution prohibiting regulation of abortion. The amendment would allow late-term abortions, and would eliminate laws requiring parental consent and safety protocols for women. The Catholic Church across the state of Florida is urging all Florida Catholics and people of good will to vote “no” on Amendment 4. To learn more, visit www.dosp.org/voteno.

Date Specific

June 1 – St. Justin Martyr

St. Justin was an early Christian who converted to the faith and spent his adult life teaching and writing about the truth of Christianity. After refusing to sacrifice to pagan gods, he was martyred for the faith. Like St. Justin, may we be courageous in the midst of our trials and strive to lead others to Christ.

St. Justin Martyr, pray for us! 🙏🏼

June 5 – St. Boniface

Today we remember St. Boniface, a man who cared deeply for the poor and was tasked with helping to reform the Church in desperate areas. While preparing converts for the sacrament of confirmation, he and his companions were killed. Like him, let us strive to follow Christ in all things.

June 21 – St. Aloysius Gonzaga

St. Aloysius determined to follow his vocation to be a priest despite opposition from those around him, not desiring the luxuries of the world. He devoted his time to serving the sick during a plague and died at 23 from the disease of those he served. Let us remember to make God’s will for us our priority and to recognize Jesus in the face of the poor and sick.
