Marriage Jubilee Mass of Thanksgiving
The Marriage Jubilee Mass of Thanksgiving with Bishop Gregory Parkes will take place at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle on Sunday, February 10th at 3:00 pm. This event honors couples throughout the diocese who will celebrate 25, 50 or more years of marriage during the 2019 calendar year. Please RSVP to the parish office by Thursday January 24th.
Annual Vocation Promotion Workshop
Please join us on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 9am-2pm for our annual vocation promotion workshop. Fr. Chuck Dornquast, Parochial Vicar at St. Lawrence Parish in Tampa will be our keynote speaker. Our theme this year is Courageous Vocations: Awakening Greatness in Others. Registration is open to everyone who is interested in promoting vocations and vocation awareness in your parish or school. All Are Invited to the Diocesan Celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of Altagracia on Sunday, January 20th
Come and be a part of the diocesan celebration honoring Our Lady of Altagracia during a Mass at Incarnation Parish (8220 W. Hillsborough Ave., Tampa) on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. The Mass will be concelebrated by Father Gilberto Quintero, Vicar for Multicultural Ministry in the Diocese of St. Petersburg.
Following the Holy Mass, everyone is invited to the parish hall to enjoy the famous Dominican empanadas, music and a joyful atmosphere. All proceeds will benefit missionary outreach to Incarnation’s sister parish in the Dominican Republic. Our Lady of Altagracia is the Patroness of the Dominican Republic.

In the Wildflowers Retreat
for women who have suffered childhood sexual abuse
This 10-week Christ-centered private retreat will be held in Tampa on Saturdays beginning February 2 through April 6, 2019 from 2 pm to 6 pm. Cost is $15 per session (meal is included). No one will be turned away for inability to pay. Catholic Days at the Capitol, March 26-27 (returning March 28)
In the Catholic Tradition, Responsible Citizenship is a Virtue. Catholics from around the state are invited to attend our annual lobbying days known as Catholic Days at the Capitol. Schedule includes a legislative briefing on human life and dignity issues, meetings with elected officials, luncheon, and the Red Mass of the Holy Spirit. Registration deadline is March 12th.

Summer Adventure- Good Counsel Camp
Our Diocesan youth camp located in Floral City,Florida, is looking for counselors for this summer’s sessions. Do you enjoy working with children? Do you enjoy adventure and challenges? Come See the New Christ the King Church
In celebration of Christ the King’s newly expanded and renovated church, there will be an open house January 20 – 25, from 10am to Noon and 2pm to 4pm each day that week. Self-guided tour sheets will available in the narthex, as well as expert guides to answer any questions. Please note that daily Mass is held at 12:10pm in Our Lady Queen of Angels Chapel.

Forming Intentional Disciples Workshop

St. John Vianney Parish, 445 – 82nd Avenue, St. Pete Beach
St John Vianney Catholic Church invites you to join us for this important workshop to learn how to respond to the invitation to follow Jesus in the midst of His Church. The workshop will be led by Katherine Coolidge, of the Catherine of Siena Institute.
We will start with Mass at 8:15 in the church then move to Msgr. Trainor Hall for continental breakfast and the workshop. Lunch will be provided. The registration fee is $40 but you will receive a $5 discount if you register before February 1st.
