Mrs. Linda Holtfreter
We received word of the recent passing of Mrs. Linda Holtfreter, 69, sister of Father David Engbarth, a retired priest of the Diocese of Rockford, Illinois, residing and assisting in the Diocese of St. Petersburg.

A Memorial Mass for Mrs. Holtfreter was held today, June 13, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Cecelia Catholic Church,  Clearwater.

Mr. James A. Wright
Mr. James A. Wright, 92, grandfather of Father Kyle Smith, Parochial Vicar of St. Cecelia Parish, Clearwater.  Mr. Wright passed away in the Lord in Tuesday, June 7, 2016.  He is predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Helen and brothers, Joseph and Jack.  He is survived by 10 children, including daughter Margaret Smith (Father Kyle’s mother), and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Mr. Wright was a devout, lifelong Catholic and was a long-time member of St. Helen Parish, Vero Beach.

Funeral services were celebrated on June 11 at  Vero Beach, FL.

Brother Kevin Connolly, S.D.B.
Bro. Kevin died at the provincial house of the Salesians of Don Bosco in New Rochelle, N.Y., on May 29. He was born in Brooklyn on Jan. 29, 1937, the son of Peter and Mary Fitzpatrick Connolly. He joined the Salesians on Sept. 8, 1956.

Bro. Kevin is survived by his brothers Vincent and Thomas, and numerous nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces.

Throughout his Salesian life Bro. Kevin exemplified the hard work and piety of the Salesian brother. His good nature and cheerfulness endeared him to everyone.

All services were held at the Salesian High School Chapel, New Rochelle, NY. on June 3, 2016.

Jessica Giannerini-Thomas
Our hearts go out to Terri Wiles in the Finance Office of the Pastoral Center, who lost her daughter, Jessica, in a tragic incident in Urban Illinois.

Jessica Giannerini-Thomas, 37, of Urbana Illinois was taken away suddenly from us on May 23rd 2016. She was born December 3rd, 1978, in Joliet, a daughter of Guy Giannerini and Terri Wiles.

She is survived by her daughter, Joli; her parents, Guy Giannerini of Riverside, CA and Terri Wiles of Tampa, FL; her sister, Jennifer Paulino of Los Angeles, CA; her brother, John Giannerini of Indianapolis, IN; her Grandfather, Aldo Giannerini of Dwight, IL; her Grandmother, Mary Munchalfen of Tampa, FL; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services and burial took place on June 8, 2016 in Joliet.

May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departedby the Mercy of God, rest in peace!
