The Office of Information and Communications has created this page for parishes in the Diocese of St. Petersburg to find free and shareable content that helps to evangelize, inspire, and unite our community. Parishes of the Diocese of St. Petersburg have our approval to share any of the materials listed below on their website, social media, bulletin, and other parish communication channels. If you have questions about any materials found on this page, please contact Teresa Peterson, tlp@dosp.org. (Please note: Local photos/videos/reels of your parish and parishioners typically obtain the most engagement on a parish social media account and other parish communication channels. However, this content can also support your efforts.)

Month of the Rosary

Pray the Rosary and discover what graces you will receive in your life. October is traditionally dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary, so it’s a great time to pray the Rosary more often or for the first time! #Catholic #Rosary

Respect Life Month

In October, we commemorate Respect Life Month throughout the United States and October 6th is Respect Life Sunday. During this time, let us renew our commitment to protect life in all stages. Also, let us urge everyone to vote *no* on Amendment 4, an extreme, deceptive and dangerous proposal in Florida that will jeopardize the lives of innocent unborn children and their mothers.  That is why over 400 doctors and medical professionals have signed a declaration against Amendment 4.

Faithful Citizenship

The Catholic bishops of the United States are pleased to offer once again to the Catholic faithful Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship (en Español), our teaching document on the political responsibility of Catholics. This statement represents our guidance for Catholics in the exercise of their rights and duties as participants in our democracy. We urge our pastors, lay and religious faithful, and all people of good will to use this statement to help form their consciences; to teach those entrusted to their care; to contribute to civil and respectful public dialogue; and to shape political choices in the coming election in light of Catholic teaching.

Vote No on Amendment 4

An extremely grave amendment has been placed on the November 2024 ballot that seeks to erase pro-life protections by inserting language into the Florida Constitution prohibiting regulation of abortion. The amendment would allow late-term abortions, and would eliminate laws requiring parental consent and safety protocols for women. The Catholic Church across the state of Florida is urging all Florida Catholics and people of good will to vote “no” on Amendment 4. Florida’s general election is Nov. 5th, and early voting begins on Oct 26th
