MonsignorJohn Kennedy will be the 2019 CMC keynote speaker.

Monsignor Kennedy is an Irish priest who was appointed by Pope Francis in 2017 to lead the disciplinary section of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. He has served on the CDF since 2003.

His presentation will provide updates on events relevant to the clergy abuse crisis and his perspective on how Catholic media can cover this topic in a way that brings awareness to the tragic events surrounding the abuse crisis as well as the proactive work of Church leaders to protect children and all vulnerable populations from exploitation and abuse.
