The Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops on the Family, the second of two Synods, starts on October 4, 2015 to discuss topics related to the family and evangelization. The first synod occurred in October of 2014. Read more about the synods on the USCCB’s website.

In late 2013, the Vatican asked bishops around the world to participate in a survey about ministry to families. Bishop Lynch asked the faithful of our diocese to participate in this survey to provide feedback which was sent to the Vatican to assist in preparation for the two synods. The results of that survey can be found in this post on Bishop Lynch’s blog.
