Annual Cub Scout Retreat—Each January we offer an afternoon retreat to share in crafts, games, and fun designed to help Cubs Scouts grow in their faith. The retreat is open to all registered Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos, and AOLs.
Scout Sunday Celebrated in Local Parishes—Each year, the Sunday before February 8th (the anniversary of Scouting in America), parishes across the country take time to recognize Scouts and adult leaders in their community and the contributions they make to parish life.
Diocesan Scout Recognition Sunday—Also in February or March, each year we come together as a diocese to recognize Scouts who have earned their religious emblems, adult leaders who have gone above and beyond in their commitment to Catholic Scouting, and Catholic units of excellence.
Annual Scouts BSA/Venturing/Sea Scout Retreat—Each early October, we offer a weekend retreat for older Scouts to come together, meet new friends, reflect on their faith, and experience some classic Scouting fun. This retreat is open to all registered Scouts BSA, Venturers, and Sea Scouts.
Religious Emblem Counselor Training—Twice a year, in the Spring and in the Fall, we offer training for adults who wish to become Religious Emblem Counselors. Counselors must be registered with BSA, be current on Youth Protection Training (YPT), Safe Environment Program Training (SEPT), be fingerprinted and background screened, and have their pastor’s approval.
