Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
In keeping with my ongoing commitment to provide a safe environment for the vulnerable members of our society, I have authorized the various Safe Environment Program training modules, listed in the attached document. These modules provide training for anyone entrusted with the care, responsibility, and/or supervision of children, youth, and or vulnerable adults.
I deem this program to be in accord with Catholic moral teaching. Its effective use helps to provide a safe environment where children, youth, and vulnerable adults can feel secure in their surroundings, allowing them to grow in their love of Christ and to experience healthy human relationships.
